These Terms govern your use of Gelato Sync (the "Service"), a print-on-demand fulfillment connector for merchants on the OpoShop platform, provided by Found. By installing or using Gelato Sync, you agree to these Terms. You must have a valid OpoShop store and the authority to bind that business to these Terms.
1. What Gelato Sync does
Gelato Sync connects your OpoShop store to YOUR OWN Gelato account. It lets you put your artwork on Gelato blanks and import them as products, detects new orders, can place the corresponding fulfillment order on Gelato, retrieves tracking numbers, and marks orders shipped in your store. You are responsible for your Gelato account, its payment method, the artwork you upload, and the products you choose to sell.
2. Private-label branding and product compliance
Your artwork is created and uploaded by you. Gelato Sync hosts it at a public URL so Gelato can download it Packaging tool — Gelato Sync provides guidance for that setup but does not design, print, or apply your at production time. Gelato Sync does not create, edit or licence your artwork. You are solely responsible for the content, accuracy, and legal compliance of the artwork you upload and the products you sell — including that you hold the rights to every design you print — including ingredient and nutrition claims, health/dietary claims, and any applicable FDA or other regulatory requirements in the markets where you sell. Gelato Sync makes no representation that any product or label is compliant, safe, or fit for a particular purpose.
3. Payments and money safety
Gelato Sync creates fulfillment orders on Gelato. Live ordering is OFF by default; until it is enabled, orders are created as Gelato DRAFTS, which are not charged and not printed (charging your Gelato payment method) unless you have explicitly enabled live ordering in Settings AND live ordering is enabled for the installation. You are responsible for reviewing your automation settings and for all charges incurred on your Gelato account. Gelato Sync is a tool that acts on your instructions; you remain responsible for your orders, pricing, margins, and fulfillment decisions.
4. Your responsibilities
- Provide a valid Gelato API key and maintain your own Gelato account in good standing.
- Configure product mappings, margins, and automation settings correctly for your business.
- Comply with OpoShop's and Gelato's terms, and with applicable laws, including consumer, intellectual-property, shipping, and tax obligations for the products you sell.
5. Availability and changes
We work to keep Gelato Sync available and accurate, but the Service is provided "as is" without warranties. We may update, improve, or change features over time. Order placement and tracking depend on third-party systems (OpoShop and Gelato) that are outside our control.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Found is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for supplier charges, shipping outcomes, or losses arising from your configuration or from third-party systems. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the three months before the claim.
7. Termination
You may stop using Gelato Sync and uninstall it at any time. On uninstall we mark your store inactive and handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
